On Thursday April 25, Haven Technologies celebrated National Take our Children to Work Day at our New York office. Our team came together to host a day filled with STEM & business-focused sessions for the kids, with a bit of fun thrown in.
We started the day off coding our very own video games with Reeve Barthelme, HT Full Stack Developer.
Then, we solved riddles to complete an office scavenger hunt led by Katherine Ewell and Alan Yu from HT’s Underwriting Team.
We drafted business plans with Sarthak Bhandari and Thomas Germano, HT Product Owners.
We ended the day pitching our businesses to “investors” in Shark Tank: Haven Tech Edition led by Gautam Kumar, HT Product Lead.
“It was great to meet everyone’s kids and share a bit of our skills and expertise. We hope they learned as much as we did!” says Jiordalys Figueroa, HT Information Risk Lead. We had a great time sharing the office with future members of the Haven Technologies team and can’t wait for next year!
