For Ayan Sarkar, our Chief Revenue Officer, there isn’t much that is more meaningful than sharing the technology necessary to help carriers unlock access to insurance. As he puts it, “In 2023, life insurance should be accessible to everyone. Technology is the solution.” For Ayan, being part of a technology company that is focused on increasing accessibility to these critical financial products with a customer-first mindset is not only fulfilling but also incredibly exciting.
As the millennial generation enters the life insurance market, the digital experience becomes a driving factor in purchasing decisions. The insurtech industry needs to create a modern and simple experience for customers, while still enabling advisors and carriers to play their role. Adding to the mix, the proliferation of AI and data is forcing accelerated change in the industry. While Ayan believes the core value proposition of life insurance remains the same, he anticipates how insurers reach their customers will only become more innovative as a result of new technologies, increasing expectations from customers and consumers.
Looking back on his career and his current work at Haven Technologies, it makes sense that Ayan has been so successful this industry – the direct crossroads of business and technology creating impactful change. Today, Ayan leads Haven Technologies’s Market Engagement Team and spearheads our mission of making life insurance more accessible to our client’s customers. On the weekends, Ayan spends time taking in New York’s thriving art and culture scene. You’ll find him roaming art galleries and shows all throughout the city!
